<Arts Talk>Travel with a Wine Glass
You can often see tea lovers carrying tea sets with them when they are travelling. We wine lovers may also wish to bring a red wine glass to travel around. Summer is here, and the holidays are coming. Today, I would like to recommend some fun and delicious wine itineraries for you. There are too many famous wine spots in the world. We only focus on France this time.
Let’s start with Bordeaux, the Holy Land of wine in the hearts of many wine lovers. The Bordeaux Wine Festival was officially born in 1998. It will be held on the banks of the Garonne River in Bordeaux every two years in June. Each booth can taste wine once. In the evening, there will be a firework show and a variety of food stalls. In addition, there are many magnificent or small and exquisite castles among the vineyards of Bordeaux. Riding a bicycle on the road among the vineyards, smelling the unique fragrance of grass and trees in the air, I believe that no one will refuse this kind of comfort and coziness.
There is a small town named Epernay in the Champagne region of France, which is one of the most expensive streets in the world - Champagne Avenue, known as the "Golden Avenue". The underground wine cellar is about 28 kilometers long, gathering all the famous champagne wineries. It is the heart of the champagne region. The most familiar and largest champagne company in the world, Moet & Chandon, the most French artistic Perrier Jouet, and the French favorite Mercier champagne are gathered here. Champagne lovers must come here for a walk when they come to France.
As many people like Bordeaux, as many people like Burgundy. In the eyes of many wine lovers, this most complex and difficult wine region on earth is mysterious and romantic. The most expensive wine in the world is produced here - Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, and the Pinot Noir and Chardonnay produced here are world models. There is a top vineyard route - Le Route des Grands Crus in Burgundy, known as the "Champs Elysees of Wine", which runs through the core production areas of Côte de Nuits, Côte de Beaune, Côte Chalonnaise and Maconnais. Domaine de la Romanée-Conti and Château de Pommard are also on this "avenue" and definitely worth a visit.
The Loire Valley is known as the "Garden of France". Since the rulers of the Middle Ages liked to travel around, many palace buildings were left in the valley along the Loire River. The Loire Valley wine region is located on both sides of the river, and the castles and vineyards on the bank rise one after another, hiding each other, and together constitute the most beautiful scenery on the Loire River.
Midsummer is already on the way, do you want to start a limited summer wine journey immediately?
