Hantec Invited to Attend the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission's (VFSC) 2nd Virtual Assets Symposium
On Thursday, June 27, the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC) held its 2nd Virtual Assets Symposium in Port Vila, themed "Shaping Tomorrow – Exploring the Role of Financial Dealer Licenses & Virtual Assets in National Development." This event convened financial brokers, regulatory authorities, government officials, and international experts to delve into strategic discussions about this rapidly growing economic sector.
The symposium’s agenda included in-depth analysis of international standards set by bodies like the Asia/Pacific Group on Money Laundering (APG), the Financial Action Task Force (FATF), and the European Union (EU). Participants also examined Vanuatu's compliance with regulations governing virtual assets and strategies for addressing the EU's blacklist concerns.
